Mustangs Celebrate 60 Years of Costa Ties

Graduates of all ages gather to catch up and spin yarns on their pranks, passions and youthful glory.

Mira Costa High School brought in alumni from as far back as the 1950s as well as those who left a bit more recently for its 60th anniversary reunion Saturday.

Graduates roamed the turf in Waller Stadium, where alumni gathered to exchange stories of times past and reconnect with familiar faces. The event included a memorial wall paying tribute to Costa family members and friends, a groundbreaking for a math/science building, and performances by the Mira Costa Choir & Band, as well as several alumni bands.
