Spring break begins Monday for Hermosa View and Valley students.
The is scheduled to close the schools from Monday to April 11. Classes will resume April 12.
As students continue their studies before the big break, the school district had this encouraging message posted on its website Wednesday:
"Together we endeavor to inspire our students not to fear life's challenges, but to respect and grow from them—to ride the wave, to strive for knowledge, and occasionally, dare to walk to the end of the board and hang ten."
