Beach Volleyball Fundraiser Hits Hermosa

A fundraiser for the Beach Volleyball Hall of Fame took place at the Hermosa Beach Community Center on Friday night, headlined by two highlight videos honoring inductees.

The California Beach Volleyball Association held a fundraiser Friday night to help raise money for the new home of the CBVA Hall of Fame: the Hermosa Beach Historical Museum.

The fundraiser took place at the Hermosa Beach Community Center, where a number of inductees were honored. Also presented was a photo display, as well as two beach volleyball highlight videos.

The CBVA has inducted athletes into its Hall of Fame since 1992, but never had a permanent home.

Marci Klein of VideoMemories.TV based in Redondo Beach, as well as Chris Miller of the Hermosa Beach Historical Society and the CBVA, produced and edited the highlight videos, both of which Klein commented "got a really great response."

If residents have photographs from Friday night's event, we encourage you to upload them to the site.
