San Deigo Zoo Excursion

The San Diego Zoo is home to more than 4,000 animals representing 800 species living on over 128 acres of land. The Zoo exhibits animals in the most natural way possible, with shows and animal presentations throughout the day for additional enjoyment. Included with your ticket is a ride on the Zoo’s open air guided bus tour, which allows you to acquaint yourself with the various areas available to spend your time (recommended at the beginning of the trip). Also included is a ride on the Skyfari Aerial Tram which gives an airborne shortcut over the treetops to the other end of the Zoo showcasing the Zoo’s animal and plant collections. Lunch is on your own at any of the Zoo’s dining options.

Excursion meeting place is the Community Center, 710 Pier Avenue, Hermosa Beach, California, 90254. Letters will be sent to all registered participants approximately one week before excursion date to confirm departure and return times.
