Join Vitality City for the Aviation Blvd. Community Input Meeting! Vitality City is hoping to give Aviation Blvd. a makeover with the addition of a new a bike lane, but we can't do it alone! We need input from the Beach Cities community in order to make it a success.

The next part of the Vitality City initiative is the design and implementation of the Aviation Blvd. bike path. Guided by the research and recommendations of Dan Burden, international expert on walkable and liveable community design, Vitality City seeks your help in making Aviation Blvd. not only a street, but also a destination that promotes active living and commuting in the Beach Cities.

If you want to see our community continue to grow in vitality, please attend the upcoming Aviation Blvd. Community Input Meeting. Be a part of this incredible transformation, and give your valuable input into making this project one that supports the well-being of everyone living in the beach cities. Your thoughts and opinions matter and will help us ensure that this new Aviation Blvd. is safer, more efficient, and beneficial to businesses and citizens alike.

Parking: There are underground parking entrances on Carnelian and Diamond. On-street parking is available on Carnelian Street and on North Broadway.

Is there a specific proposal for 'Bike Lanes on Aviation' on which to provide 'Community Input'? I received email notification of this meeting two days ago and immediately sent the above question to the sender, Marissa. No reponse whatsoever. At this late date (an hour before the meeting) the question becomes academic. Such failure to provide substantive advance info only helps to minimize meaningful 'Community Input'. Thus, the first rule of effective meetings: "No agenda, no attenda!"
