Walking Moai Sign Up- presented by Blue Zones Project™ Vitality City

Walking Moai are walking groups or teams that blend two of the Power 9 principles together: Move Naturally, (walking) with Right Tribe, (building social connections - like a 'Moai").

The term "Moai" comes from the Okinawan culture where at five years of age, children are put into groups with four or five other children. These groups, called “Moai” develop lifelong friendships. They are socially connected people who move through life together, celebrating good times and supporting each other through the challenging times, offering support, friendship and encouragement along the way.

In the same manner, the Blue Zones Project "Walking Moai" are groups of people coming together to share life stories and walk at the same time, allowing participants to build the right tribe while getting fit and having fun.
