Galaxy Invites Public to Join the Team for Championship Celebration

Admission and parking are free to those who opt to join the entire Galaxy roster as they celebrate the team's second consecutive Major League Soccer championship Monday.

The Los Angeles Galaxy will conduct a celebration of its second consecutive Major League Soccer championship at 7-8 p.m. Monday at The Home Depot Center's tennis stadium.

Gates will open at 6 p.m. Admission and parking is free.

The entire Galaxy roster, including David Beckham, will attend. Fans can take photos of themselves with the MLS Cup trophy.

Fans donating $5 to the LA Galaxy Foundation will receive a patch of grass from the field at The Home Depot Center where the Galaxy defeated the Houston Dynamo, 3-1, in MLS Cup 2012 Saturday.

Galaxy championship apparel will be sold at a 23 percent discount, coinciding with the jersey number of Beckham, who played his final competitive game with the Galaxy Saturday.
