Hermosa Beach Pair Lose Women's AVP Championships Final in Huntington Beach
After upsetting the favorites, the duo fall to fourth-seeded Jennifer Fopma and Brooke Sweat.
After upsetting the favorites in the semi-finals, Hermosa Beach residents Brittany Hochevar and Lauren Fendrick lost in three games in the women's final of the AVP Championship in Huntington Beach on Sunday, according to the Los Angeles Times.
Fendrick and Hochevar had defeated top-seeded Kerri Walsh-Jennings and April Ross, only to fall to fourth-seeded Jennifer Fopma and Brooke Sweat, 21-9, 15-21, 15-9, in the championship.
