Hermosa Wins 6-Lifeguard Board Relay

Los Angeles County lifeguards filled the Hermosa Beach coast by the Pier on Friday night, competing in this year's County Lifeguard Championships, which were a part of the .

Local lifeguards showed off their athleticism in various challenges: the six-lifeguard rescue board relay, six-lifeguard run relay, four-lifeguard shallow water sprint relay, and the Bud Stevenson lifeguard intracrew medley relay.

Results from the lifeguard events were released Saturday:
