George W. Bush: As Useless As Ever

Rather than being tried at The Hague's International Criminal Court for crimes against humanity where he belongs, our ex-president George W. Bush is sitting at his Texas ranch painting his little heart out. Mark Fiore expresses the disbelief many of us are feeling at Bush's latest endeavor in his hilarious new animation, "George W. Bush's Art of Legacy," which you can watch here. Really? George W. Bush is having an art show at his presidential library featuring his painted portraits of many of the big important people who he met during his presidency? Okay, I just couldn't resist this one. He's capturing emotion! He's showing Putin's personality! Look! He painted a cuddly duck for his grandchild! (Cartoon not necessary for that one.) He's trying to paint his way to a nice cuddly legacy. Methinks there are a few other things he should be painting. If he's not forced to paint the victims of his reckless foreign policy in real life, at least I can make him do it in my cartoons. Please, Dubya, visit a disabled veteran's house and ask him to sit for a portrait. Oh wait, I forgot, your portraits only come from the top searches of Google. Alas, one can only hope. If only Bush really wanted to capture the pain, loss and suffering of his ridiculous war escapade. He'd have to make so many visits to Iraq, a full C-130 full of art supplies would be required at regular intervals. Enjoy the cartoon and pass it along to your favorite ex-president hobbyist painter.
