Barnabas, a young male domestic short hair cat, is available for a Hermosa Beach family to adopt.

The 1-year-old cat's former owner was unable to care for him due to financial constraints. He now needs a new family.

Since Barnabas enjoys quiet moments, a home without young children would not suit him—loud noises and quick movements make him nervous.

But he loves cuddling and being scratched under his chin.
