Puppy Duo Needs a Home

Alexis and Tidy are 10-week-old littermates. A mix of Terrier and Chihuahua, both puppies are very active.

Tidy, a male, is very sweet and playful.

Alexis, a female, looks more like a Chihuahua than a Terrier. She's more vocal than her brother Tidy, but she's still very affectionate and playful.

The puppies' mother, Izzy, who is also available for adoption, was rescued by a Gardena family and brought to the Lovejoy Foundation's adoption center several months ago. Three hours later, Izzy gave birth to the two puppies.

Both puppies would do well in a home with older children; because puppies will nip and bite at children's hands, they don't do well in households with children under the age of six.

The puppies, who don't have to be adopted together, would also do well with an older couple who is home a lot. The dogs' new owners would have to be patient since Tidy and Alexis are young puppies.
