Mayor Bobko has decided that to drill for emergency situations at schools in Hermosa Beach is…Read More profitable and may save lives. I believe the same principle may be applied to the entire city to prepare for an explosion, earthquake, tsunami or fire. These occurrences are not unimaginable.

I cross that intersection frequently with my 85-pound Lab-Shepherd, and i'm pleased to say that the…Read More knuckleheads give us a wide berth. After this news, I may consider adding a weapon as a last line of defense.

I was only around this icon a few times. Every time he was the "most interesting man ..."…Read More The most engaging guy in the room. His stories were always inspirational. Even though wildly successful he returned phone calls and always answered his own phone. He was incredibly generous to many organizations in the South Bay. Always without hesitation we would donate. I was always intending on sending him the promised payment, but it just didn't seem like something he would remember after all this time. Very sorry I never got around to it.
