It doesn't even have an identifying sign, although the name South Park generally refers to the fact that it is at the southernmost end of Hermosa Beach.</p> <p>Parking is limited but is free and does allow for stays up to six hours. There is a small playground at the far west end and a baseball field at the north end. Picnic tables, some with adjacent grills, are mostly found under the shade of trees and dot the outer edges of the large central green space that dominates the park. The space is large enough to accommodate all manner of activities at the same time, including sunbathing, a game of Frisbee and even a game of football.</p>
