Richard Oberlander, Neighbor

Richard is the founder and lead instructor for South Bay CPR Training Center.

He remembers what it feels like to be in his first CPR class in Los Angeles before taking his EMT education at UCLA. It is the first step to doing so much more.The ironic thing after all the education and years later, CPR is still the bottomline,the foundation to running any code or pre-hospital life support. While CPR is the simplest skills of all, it is one of the most essential.

After working for Gerber Ambulance, after teaching for UCLA as well as Kaiser in their EMS education, he decides it’s time to give back to the South Bay (where he grew up) and run CPR class in Torrance.
